Movie Pitch

The genre of my movie is going to be horror/psychological theme to it.

It's about these 2 beautiful girls called Ria and Alayna who have been best friends since childhood they have a love hate relationship meaning they can either love each other and be really good friends or be bitchy to one and other but nothing or none can separate their friendship until the day where the devil inside her room decides to show up. This is where they decide to go to college 2 best friends living the dream of their life's but when they find out their not each others roommates there dreams slowly shatter (just kidding). Ria gets a roommate that's really friendly but on the other hand Alayna gets a roommate that appears to be absolutely beautiful and friendly but she doesn't know that she's the devil inside the room. Slowly, the best friends that thought this was their dream drifted apart stuck on the other side of each other. Alainah slowly becomes overly obsessed with Alayna this is where the psychological twist comes in Alainah hasn't been taken her medicine lately has this affected her in any way till an extent and decides she wants her more than friends she wants to rip the soul out of her will Ria let this affect her friendship that's already drifted or will she help her best friend escape?

Hey bloggers,
Today in class we got to watch 4-5 trailers which was really interesting as we looked at a variety of genres which were horror, romantic comedy, comedy and drama.My favorite movie trailer we watched was 'The Decent' because I loved how it had the typical horror movie scene with the killer,girls,screaming,blood and always that blonde girl that gets killed first. Horror movies  have that classical music that is tensing yet making it appear as something going to happen any second. The reaction on the characters faces are frightened, shocked and can tell that they are panicking.

A specific trailer i gave chosen to talk about is 'insidious 2'. The genre of the movie is horror/thriller. It is a very jumpy movie that gives you some suspense making you scared about what's going to happen next. 

iconography- i can see a family together happily till the devil comes back. i see an old man shouting alot of ghost wondering around choking Patrick Wilson following every movement of him. I also hear alot of screaming and crying.

Analysis.

The audience profile consists of varies of brands such as 'Dance spirit' which is a dance magazine. I have chosen this to add because it is all to do with the game based on dancing this also means ALOT of people who read or have heard about it from other people would probably have an idea of this game. I have also added some clothing brand such as Pineapple which sells dance clothing and would get inspiration from the game to wear clothes which are more fancy and elegant. I have put a camera there as people take pictures of dance so it was vital to put it into my audience profile as dance involves taking pictures sharing it with people around you. Just dance is available on the PS3 which a majority of people owe or if not also available of the Nintendo wii which 80-90% of people own that is why i have included it as it is also available on wii,Xbox and PlayStation  I have included knee high converses as converses adds a edgy affect to dancing/rock and seem realistic to wear as dancing as people see converses which a majority of people own or like they will see how it links to the game as for clothing. Phones and blackberry's 90% of people own one or another which is a fact that is why i have included it. Guitars is the base to just dance as it has the movements the music is around rock and hip hop so it seemed appealing to include a guitar.

I've included twitter page as many people own a twitter account and can follow just dance 4 on twitter to get more people to buy and play it. 'Game' is one of the stores you can purchase your just dance game which i thought i should include. i have included pictures of musical notes as just dance is going on music and most people love music so they will be attracted to it by looking at the colourful musical notes.

The final thing i have included is a just dance snaps briefly of what the game is about and will be attractive to people who would want to play the game.

In media today we got to go on Photoshop and used words to suit the meaning of the word eg..
falling would be letters going downwards as if it seems like it is going to fall this affect is typography. This is what we did..

Afterwards we had to add some pictures and colors to it to make it more realistic. Example is personality every letter is individual as everyone is different to each other.

Today in media we got to make a story and take pictures of them. The storyline of my groups story was two people that like each other and are together and the girls older brother find out and then
the rest is a mystery you'll just have to keep reading!

Shot Typer:Establishing shot 

This shot allows us to see where the main story is going to be shot showing the positioning 

of all the characters.

This show allows us to see from head-toe but also the setting of the background
In this picture as you can see are a couple. The boy is offering his coat to his girlfriend.

Shot type:Over the shoulder shot 
This shot shows us to see a prospective of another person's view. As you can see in this image a quiet masculine figure is stood in front watching ahead, as there is a girl secretly spying on the couple. Inferring that the posture of the boy seems very aggressive and angry.

Shot type:Meduim Shot.
This medium shot allows us to see a picture of the character from head to waist but allowing to see enough background to know where the scene is set. In this shot the girl(me) is looking directly towards the camera, seemed very frightened making the viewers want to read on.

Shot type:Over the shoulder shot
This shows the prospective of the ex-girlfriend watching her ex-boyfriend being beated up by the girls brother as she frowned/laughing away.

Shot type:Close up.
This shot allows you to see the expression of the person. In this picture shot you can see he is beaten up badly by the girlfriends brother looking lost and hurt telling by his facial expression he is devastated.

This shot focuses on ONE aspect emphasizing the details this shows the girls brother which was viewed in the 'over the shoulder shot' leaving a smurky smile and showing that he is happy about the break up of his sister and her boyfriend.

So that's the end of our story the next remains a mystery..

Fruit Basket blog

For this task given we had to decorate a fruit basket using he themes that had been given eg;rich,vibrant,winter,rich and pastel this was

the color scheme we had to make the basket look like by using different,

images to set a background as you can see i have used a colorful background which matches my theme and kept the base simple as it would over do the whole look. i used red,purple,blue,yellow,green and pink to dothe whole basket.

I have chosen the theme:Vibrant because i wanted to have a colorful basket that was interesting to look at and straight away you could notice my theme,we used Photoshop to color in the picture that we had been given.

This is the colorful palette i created before using the colors
to test them out and see if they look vibrant enough and used the swatch them onto a Photoshop international paper to swatch them using a airbrush affect.

To conclude the final product of coloring my picture looks like this basket show above.

The title of this brand new game that was 
recently released in November 22nd 2013 is called..
'TEARAWAY' The packaging of this game is a settle blue,
and green theme. The text itself is in a blue/green colour followed by a white background. The picture has a man doll standing ahead like superhero which is the main character as you peak behind you can see
a creepy looking monster and a deer. Followed by lovely clouds while the sun peaks through. There is a video game advert which appears to
have characters running through different missions showing how the game works which is a demo
                                                 

Institution

The game was produced by a media molecule but 
It was found by Alex Evans, Mark Healey which are the founders of this game. The original producer is playstation vita. i wouldn't say it was as successful as the game they produced before called 'LittleBigplanet' as they have to give away bonus offers because not as many people were buying it but itself the people that bought it were satisfied with the game. It was advertised as a trailer it got 44,916 views which is alot but when it was first advertised the hype was over exciting and had first gotten 216,560 compared to what they got recently. To conclude on a scale from 1-10 it was a 6.7 as it wasn't as successful as i thought it was so in the future i would make the game have more action and have more levels that you want to get to and motivate you to going further. 


Audience

This game looks like the target audience is very low its targeted at little kids from age 7 and above of mainly male gender as it uses the color theme blue and green which infers it's mainly targeted at boys.It doesn't look like a game for girls to play as it involves fighting but it could be a female game if you played it once depending on your liking but otherwise they mainly targeted the male audience. In my opinion they could have made the target age for males and females so that the game would've been more successful and would probably be hitting the top charts of gaming.


Representation 

The picture of the game in my opinion is mainly targeted as a male because there's no female's taking place which suggests maybe this game is a no female play zone and not really suggesting much for other age groups which makes it harder to decide if a girl can play this or not. The producers could have made the packaging more attractive but i think this simple packaging it also very decent enough for the children.

The game i have researched is called 'Dark' it is a Xbox game which was released in July 5th 2012 which is quiet recent. The genre is a:Action adventure which involves vampires, supernatural creatures and also involves abit of adventure as you have to go on a hunt and find different things. This is a brief description of the game 'Dark' This is about Dark is a third person stealth action role playing game that puts players in the role of Eric recently turned vampire who has supernatural and vampire powers that allow them to teleport, become invisible, night vision and the ability to slow time. it sounds more of a horror game but is actually really fun to play with.
The developer is a person called Kalypso. The developer got his inspiration from other teenagers who like to play games that had adventure and action so he combined them together and created this game which is now a popular game.

This Xbox game 'Dark' was promoted through a trailer which viewed 78,867 and then it was released into stores which more people became attracted to and then bought. The actual cover itself of the Xbox game appeared like this. It is a very big human vampire with a huge moon covering the right hand covering underneath with cities and different places the corner of the cover and added with white glowing texts that has a foggy affect to it which attracted most people to buying it as it seemed like a cool game that involves action and adventure.

The age rating is clearly listed it is a 16 and above which states it is made for teenagers that like action as it also does involve violence that is why it is listed for 16 and above so the main target audience was older teenagers and at the back it states the age rating and how to play the game which is the demo.
 
The game itself is retailed for £21.98 which is quiet reasonable price for a game that involves allot of action. But as the game got old the price dropped and became cheaper.

Dark Souls 

Dark was a successful game as it released another game called 'Dark Soul' which got twice as many people buying it and it was sold out in a couple of days but according to others they didn't find the game as fun they thought it was boring.

i didn't find a Facebook, twitter page for dark but the newer version game they released has a Facebook page which looks like this
Here are reviews on the game from people who have played it and reviewed it.

Opinions vary. I, myself, barely play games without an aspect of stealth, so I am pretty much a stealth-addict. Furthermore, I love DE: HR and think it is one of the best games out there'   as you can see this person is addicted which is a positive review.

For that matter, it can be played as an action game (as in up-front shooting), but the difficulty increases. It is intended as stealth, therefore is often played that way -- but isn't required to.  This person is reviewing it as a difficult game but action.

just boring. The characters move awkwardly. Their faces have no expressions at all. The graphics are barely acceptable. And the "dragging" dead enemies is so poorly done. It's plain ugly. I gave it a fear chance, but it felt like torture.  there is also some bad reviews suggesting the games boring and not worth it but different people's opinions varies

To conclude if your a type of person that likes vampires and action then this is a game for you if your more adventurous then this game isn't much of an adventure but has got a majority of positive reviews and a few negatives but everyone's opinions varies upon what kind of games you like.
