The House At The End Of The Street-

There are a number of theories of philosophers to certain media texts this enables us to appreciate how film producers create interest in their films when creating trailers. According to Propp's theory there's always a certain number of characters we always see. For example a protagonist which leads the narrative which in this case is Elissa (Jennifer Lawrence) who typically leads the narrative. in most trailers there's also most antagonist which is played by Ryan Jacobson showing how there is always a villain in most movie's. In this movie there is a mentor which is the mother and the close family cop which give advise to both Jennifer Lawrence and Ryan Jacobson. The herioine is Jennifer Lawrence herself as she rescue's herself and her mother at the part where Ryan is trying to kill her but her mother screams and grabs a gun and shoots the killer.

Barthe- Enigma codes:

Who is Carrie Anne?
Is she still alive?
Is Ryan mentally stable?
Where did the girl from the cafe go, is she Carrie Anne now?
Why does everyone trust him who is he?
How did she escape?

Action codes:

"Ryan, who's tampons are these?" We automatically know there Carrie Anne's
"Yes mum i won't go to Ryan's house" She ends up going to Ryan's house
"Are you with ryan?" "no" We know she's with Ryan
